Incohearent party card game: decode gibberish phrases, 400 cards, ages 17+

Incohearent is the party card game where you compete to guess the gibberish phrase on the card. Each card has a combination of words on the front that, when recited out loud, sound like the phrase written on the back. For example, try reciting “thirds teeth or stay” out loud. Can you hear the hidden phrase? Listen closely… you’ve been saying “thirsty Thursday.” Suitable for parties and game nights with friends. Now spicier with updated content!

Designed for ages 17+ due to mature language and references.

How to play

Similar in basic play pattern to our #1 best selling game What Do You Meme?, players rotate drawing a card — in this case a sent (or “inbox”) card while the rest of the group competes to play the funniest reply card.

One person is the designated judge each round — they flip the timer and hold a card up so that only they can see the answer (and clues) and everyone else sees the Incohearant phrase. Everyone except the judge is a translator.

The translators read the front of the card aloud. Whoever decodes the phrase first wins the card. Having trouble? The judge is allowed to reveal 1 hint (found on the back of the card) per round. When the card has been decoded or the translators have elected to pass, the judge pulls the next card.

Once the timer runs out or 3 cards have been decoded, the round is over, and the next translator (rotating counterclockwise) becomes the judge.

The first player to decode 13 cards is the winner!
