It's no surprise that remote control cars for kids remain one of the most popular gift categories year after year.

Educational Toys
Some of the best educational toys hardly feel educational at all. Children are too busy experimenting, making music, building or exploring to realise they're developing new skills along the way.

Some other toys we love this year!
Not every toy fits neatly into a single category, and that's part of the fun. Some become favourites because they're something completely different, while others surprise everyone by becoming the toy children reach for every day.
Collectibles continue to be hugely popular, especially when there's a surprise element involved, while action figures remain a reliable choice for children who enjoy creating their own adventures. Plush toys are still among the most requested gifts, proving that soft companions never really go out of fashion.
Whether your child enjoys building, creating, pretending, collecting or spending every spare minute outdoors, Geoffrey's Hot Toy List for 2026 brings together toys that offer lasting play value rather than just a moment of excitement. They're the kinds of gifts families remember because they become part of everyday play, not just something that's opened and forgotten.
